The Registrar’s Office is located at the High School. It is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm during the school year and in the summer.

Requesting Transcripts:

Transcripts can be requested in the High School Main Office, by mail, or online.  Please allow 2 business days for processing.

New to Amherst Regional Middle or High School?

Welcome! Below is the procedure for enrolling and requesting high school courses:

Once all the registration documents are submitted the Registrar will:

  • Set up any necessary placement tests (in Math, Foreign Language, and/or English Language for non-native English speakers)

  • Set up a counselor meeting to schedule classes

Information for High School students enrolling for the 2018-19 school year:

March 6 – Family Curriculum Night presentation for 8th grade parents, in the High School Auditorium.  Special education course information beginning at 6:15pm.  General education course information 7:00pm-8:30pm.

April 27 (time TBD) – Step-up Day, for current 8th graders and potential new students to visit the school.  New families should contact the Registrar to RSVP.

August (date TBD) – High School Open House, for new students and all incoming 9th graders.

Newly enrolling students and those returning to ARHS after a withdrawal should:

  1. Submit all registration forms and supplemental documents.

  2. Submit course request forms.

  3. Schedule placement tests and a guidance appointment.  New students will meet individually with a guidance counselor to choose classes and are exempted from the online course request required for currently enrolled students.

Placement tests and guidance appointments for students enrolling for the 2018-2019 school year will happen in early June and late August.  Students must be fully enrolled in school in order to sign up for a placement test or meet with a guidance counselor.

February 27 – Middle School Parent Orientation presentation for 6th grade parents, at the Middle School.  6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

February 27 - Middle School Parent Special Education Orientation presentation for 6th grade parents, in the Middle School Library.  6:00 pm - 6:30pm.
